We had an old O'Keefe and Merritt range that needed to go. I tried to sell/give it to a vintage stove dealer but none of them wanted it, largely because it has a "kindler" and no one wants that any more. Sad!

This is me happily tucking into the last weekend brunch made with it.

It was terrifying to witness the junk guys take it away. It is extremely heavy and only just fitted through the doors, and then there were the stairs to negotiate from the front door. I felt sure someone was going to get hurt when it fell on them.

We're also getting rid of our old clothes washer and freezer, and also the dryer because it's gas and we're going all electric.

And then they were gone…

And then there was this big pile of junk that got hauled at the same time.
